My name is Esmée van der Asdonk and I joined Inter-Sprint in January 2020. I work in the Express Support department as a customer service employee. 

Every day, many tyres are sent to customers by parcel service. If there are any problems with a parcel, we are the first point of contact. It may happen that tyres get lost during shipping. In such cases, my colleagues and I contact the parcel service to retrieve the package as soon as possible and deliver it to the customer. 

My work includes handling claims, returning tyres (and processing them), correcting invoices and answering customer questions by telephone and e-mail. Every problem is different and requires a different solution. This makes my job very varied; every day is different. Because our department has contact with the customer when there are problems, we sometimes have difficult conversations. We recently took a course in which we learned how to conduct these conversations, among other things. There is also the possibility of taking online courses so that you can continue to develop yourself. 

The atmosphere on the work floor at Inter-Sprint is informal, the colleagues are very helpful and involved and there is always time for a joke. We have a nice, hard-working team, which ensures that I enjoy going to work.
