Open communication means you know where you stand’

My name is Saskia Sturrus-Kreukniet, and I have been working as an Account Manager for the Belgian and Luxembourg market for almost two years. In recent years I have built up a good relationship with our customers so that our share in the total tyre market is still growing.

The daily contact with the customers ensures that no day is the same. My tasks vary from assisting with stocking, advising on the brand segment and taking and processing orders. But also solving challenges that customers experience with deliveries and visiting customers are part of my duties. When I came to work at Inter-Sprint, the world of tyres was completely new to me. My colleagues have been very helpful and have shared their knowledge with me. I have been able to develop myself well and now I can stand my ground ? .

In my department, there is an informal atmosphere with the Rotterdam mentality of ‘don’t bullshit but clean up your act’. Thanks to the open communication, I always know where I stand and what is expected of me. I get all the freedom I need to tackle things and constructive criticism when necessary, but above all I get a lot of appreciation. What more could you want?
